Objective of System

Online Import Export Management System is a web based application that is developed using PHP and MySQL. The objective of Import Export Management System is to develop an online web based application using which all the task of import and export can be made online. Company can place order of raw material to the supplier and supplier can view the order placed by company. Distributor can place the order for electronics products and company can view the order placed by distributor. Using this system order tracking can be made easy.

Existing System

Current Import Export Management System is totally manual. All the records related with import and export is maintained in the form of paper or registers. Company has to search for various suppliers and place order manually through telephonic talk or courier. It takes lots of extra time. There is no automatic stock update facility in current system so it is very difficult for the store keeper to track records of used raw materials. Daily inventory of production is also not maintained automatically. It means how many electronics items produced daily. Moreover stock of the products is also not maintained automatically so it is very difficult for the store keeper to track records of products. Searching facility is very poor as all records are maintained in the form of paper or registers.

Need For New System

As there are lots of problems in Existing system we planned to develop new systems that overcome all the problems of existing system. In new system all the import and export facility is done online. New System strictly follows all the rules and regulation of Import as well as Export. Such as How to import and export material, advance payment term and conditions, order cancelation etc… Company can import raw materials from suppliers by just placing an online order. Upon receiving the order from company supplier immediately send the requested raw material to company. Company can also track the status of requested raw material online using this system. Similarly distributor can place online order for the various products of the company. Upon receiving order from Distributor, Company sends the requested products to distributor. Distributor can also track the status of requested products online using this system. Searching facility is very efficient and fast in new system. Stock is automatically updated. Distributor has to pay in advance for delivery of items. If Advance payment is not submitted by distributor then order is not processed. If distributor cancel the order administrator has to deduct 10% from advance payment.
